The Big Barn combines The Piggery and The Coach House. In total the combined Big Barn offers 4 bedrooms sleeping 8:
3 x king size bedrooms and 1 x twin bedroom. The Piggery is part of the same building as the Coach House but is separated by soundproofed interconnecting fire doors that can be opened up for guests to enjoy a joint open plan living area or separated for those requiring space from the larger group for example Granny and Grandad, the young couple with a baby, teens or separate couples to have their own living accommodation yet still feel part of the wider group. The very best of both worlds!
The Big Barn comes with all the facilities and benefits of the Coach House including discounted spa access at neighbouring Walton Hall and Outdoor Kitchen with BBQ and Pizza Oven, and of course, the magnificent wood-fired hot tub seating 8-9 people. We love a celebration and welcome guests who are looking for the perfect venue for family and friend’s gatherings. The barns are also a place to unwind and relax so we politely ask guests to refrain from having noisy parties and loud music so as not to disturb other guests. A Fantastic Stay at The Big Barn for Mum’s 60th! We had an absolutely fantastic time at The Big Barn celebrating my mum’s 60th birthday. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. We opted for the additional hot tub pre-light service and it was well worth it. The hot tub was ready to hop straight in and relax, no waiting around!
The barn itself is beautifully decorated with a warm, welcoming feel. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and thoughtful touches like spa robes and separate towels for the hot tub made it feel extra special. We even discovered a heated clothes horse in the cupboard, this was very handy, especially for drying our wet swimsuits.
The view was absolutely stunning, with peaceful countryside surroundings and some very friendly “neighbours”—the sheep in the adjacent field brought a smile to our faces every morning.
A truly memorable stay in a gorgeous setting. Highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat!

Beautiful accommodation in the Cotswolds. We were a group of eight and we rented two of the barns/cottages and had more than enough space for hanging out, and enjoying group meals. The wood fired hot tub was fantastic and a great way to start/finish a day! Would definitely go back (and hopefully take better advantage of the available BBQ grill next time!)

How many people does The Big Barn sleep? The Big Barn can accommodate larger groups by combining The Coach House and The Piggery. The Coach House itself comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests, with the option to add The Piggery for additional sleeping accommodation. This makes The Big Barn particularly flexible for groups who want more space without everyone having to share bedrooms or living areas.
Is The Big Barn two properties in one? Yes. The Big Barn combines two of our luxury properties – The Coach House and The Piggery – giving larger groups the flexibility of having two connected accommodation spaces within one booking. Adding The Piggery is particularly useful for larger family groups, multi-generational stays or groups who would like additional bedrooms and their own separate space.
Is The Big Barn dog friendly? Yes. We welcome up to four well-behaved dogs, so your four-legged family members can enjoy the holiday too. There are wonderful walks nearby, along with many dog-friendly pubs, cafés and attractions across Warwickshire and the Cotswolds.
Do we get two hot tubs when we book The Big Barn? Not as standard. A Big Barn booking includes the Coach House and its private hot tub which seats up to 8 people. If you would like to add the 2 person hot tub from the Piggery, there is an additional supplement to be paid at the time of booking giving your group two hot tubs to enjoy.
What are the sleeping arrangements at The Big Barn? The Coach House provides accommodation for up to 6 guests, with 3 comfortable bedrooms designed for families and groups of friends. The configuration is 2 x king size bedrooms and one twin bedroom. By adding The Piggery, you gain an additional king size bedroom and sleeping space, making the combined accommodation ideal for larger or multi-generational groups. In total the Big Barn sleeps 8 people.
Do you charge for infants? No, we don't charge for any infant able to sleep in a travel cot. We supply travel cots and high chairs free of charge.
Is The Big Barn suitable for multi-generational family holidays? Yes. The Big Barn is particularly well suited to multi-generational families because it provides plenty of shared space while also giving different generations the option of having their own bedrooms and quieter areas. Adding The Piggery can provide valuable additional space for grandparents, parents, adult children or other family members who would appreciate a little more privacy while still being part of the same holiday.
Can we add extra accommodation to our Big Barn booking? Yes. If you need more accommodation than the Big Barn provides, subject to availability The Shooting Lodge can be added to your booking for an additional space for two people. This then gives you exclusivity over the complete accommodation. This is a useful option for wedding parties, birthday celebrations, larger families, multi-generational groups or friends who want additional bedrooms and private space.
