With bags of original features including beamed ceilings and a galleried, vaulted bedroom through to contemporary touches, such as the underfloor heating, a super-luxe bed and fabulous home from home comforts, this is a dog-friendly retreat that perfectly blends interior style with farmhouse tradition.

 

The Piggery offers a world of sympathetic renovation and stunning interior styling. The dual-aspect beamed living area is a cosy space filled with sunlight - perfect for relaxing and enjoying a freshly roasted cup of coffee in the morning. 

 

Carefully styled with luxury, country-chic furnishings and accessories and soft Farrow & Ball paint schemes, it includes a fully equipped, granite-topped kitchen with a Bosch oven, induction hob and dishwasher.

Rest and Relaxation

Climb our stunning handmade oak staircase to the first-floor galleried bedroom in the eaves of the barn. Striking with its statement headboard, it boasts a sumptuous king-sized Loaf mattress perfect for a blissful night's sleep. The adjoining en-suite bathroom offers not only a separate walk-in shower, but also a traditional cast-iron bath tub complete with premium toiletries for soaking the day away in pure luxury. A heated rail keeps towels warm and fluffy, too!

The Outdoors 

​

Elegant French doors lead from the living area out onto the terrace - the perfect hideaway from the world when all you want to do is relax with a good book and a G&T.

 

Relax and revive your senses in our glorious hot tub for two overlooking the spectacular countryside beyond.

The garden is completely enclosed and dog safe, too.  It offers a large gas BBQ and beautifully elegant garden furniture ideal for an al fresco dining experience overlooking the wild duck pond . 

 

On warmer days enjoy a sundowner and watch the magnificent sunsets we see from Mount Pleasant, or enjoy a light brunch, or even breakfast al fresco from the privacy of your garden.

"Had an incredible mini-moon at The Piggery - Mount Pleasant Barns, Anthony, Julia and there son Josh were so welcoming and super friendly, the surroundings are just breathtaking and it’s a perfect place to wind down with a glass of bubbly in the hot tub looking over the fields. All the finishes were so perfect and fitting as well and The special features that were included really made us feel even more warm and welcome! & not to forget the other cute furry 4 paws we met, Lottie & Bertie who loved playing with Maui which made it feel like it was a home away from home!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this immaculate lodge. Everything was spotless and beautifully presented, with high-end equipment and tasteful, cosy decor that made it feel like a true home away from home. It was such a treat to be able to bring our dog along and still stay somewhere so luxurious – it’s rare to find pet-friendly places that are this nice! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at ease from the moment we arrived. "Literally cannot fault this place!! The Piggery is kitted out so beautifully. Downstairs is the living room and kitchen area, with handy smart TV, comfy sofa, dining room table and well equipped kitchen. We cooked dinner one evening and had cooked breakfast, and we had pretty much everything we needed! Upstairs is the beautiful, cosy bedroom, and the bathroom which has a great shower and a freestanding bath. We both had great nights’ sleep as the bed is super comfy and the bedroom was really quiet. Outside, there is the eco hot tub, which looks out over the Warwickshire countryside. This was quite simple to set up (the water takes about 2.5 hrs to heat) and it was a really lovely, quiet spot to relax in the evenings. Anthony and Julia, the hosts, are very friendly and rightly very proud of their beautiful barns!! They are very quick to respond to messages/queries. The property is about 15 minutes from Stratford-upon-Avon for wandering/food (the Woodsman was very good) :)"
